Come as You Are

Even though it seems impossible, Nirvana’s smash album Nevermind will turn 30 in just a few years. That album brought grunge to the mainstream and changed the musical landscape of an entire decade. On Friday March 23 at the Blue Note, you will have the opportunity to relive the glory days of grunge at the Seattle Royale 2018 performance. The venue is only about 10 minutes from the Holiday Inn Columbia, so this is one concert that you will not want to miss. The Hipnecks will perform some of Alice in Chains’ biggest hits like “Rooster,” “Man in the Box,” and “Them Bones” to get things started. They will be followed by The Many Colored Death who specialize in Soundgarden classics. Decadent Nation will play Pearl Jam hits like “Jeremy,” “Daughter,” and “Even Flow” while Madora/Down Side Up will close the show with Nirvana favorites like “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “ Come As You Are,” and “Lithium.”
